On May 24th President Trump signed S. 2155, the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act, into law. The new law is the first bipartisan banking bill to clear Congress in a decade and provides much needed regulatory relief. For example, institutions with between $10 and $50 billion in assets are no longer subject to mandatory Dodd-Frank Act stress testing!
