Chris Jacobsen joined The Kafafian Group in September 2023 following a 30-year career in community banking with a focus on process improvement, profitability and successful M&A.
During his most recent time as Chief Operating Officer of Huntingdon Valley Bank, in Doylestown, PA, Chris helped to implement a customer-driven culture while ensuring high efficiency & financial performance, culminating in several prestigious awards including the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Soaring 76 as the 11th fastest growing company in Philadelphia, and the Piper Sandler SmALL Stars Award as the 33rd highest performing small-cap bank in the nation.
Prior to his time at HVB, Chris served on the Senior Leadership Teams of two other Philadelphia Community Banks and as Senior Vice President of Business Strategy at Citizens Bank working in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Chris studied Economics with a minor in Marketing at LaSalle University, obtained his Six Sigma Green Belt-Financial Services at Villanova University and completed the Citizens Bank Advanced Leadership Series at Babson College.
Chris and his wife Cheri live in Doylestown, PA. Chris serves as boys varsity lacrosse coach at Central Bucks South High School.
